October club meeting
The October club meeting will be held on Thursday 14 October 2021 at 7.30pm, via Zoom. The October meeting will have the form of a “tertulia taurina” in which 3 expert aficionados 3 (Mark Rayner, Ivan Moseley and Andrew Moore) will offer their views on the current Feria de Otoño de Madrid. Each one of them will do a brief presentation on a hot or controversial aspect of the Feria, which will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience, which will have the chance to ask questions and challenge the views of the members of the panel.
If you wish to join this meeting please let me know by the close of play on Tuesday 12 October, and I will send the login details on the Wednesday.
Club’s 61st anniversary lunch
Please find below a PDF containing full details of the club’s anniversary lunch, which will be held on Sunday 28 November at the Oriental Club in London. We are delighted that our guest of honour this year will (subject to COVID-related travel restrictions) be the matador, Pablo Aguado. Full details of how to book etc are in the attachment to this email and will also be enclosed with the next copy of La Divisa.
