On behalf of the committee may I wish each and every one of you a healthy and happy 2026.

We have an exciting programme of speakers lined up for this year and before we know it the Spanish temporada will have begun. Please keep your ideas and notices coming and also consider writing an article for La Divisa, we have a number of new members who may like to share their thoughts. You do not have to be an experienced aficionado to write something interesting.

You should all have paid your subscriptions by now, but in case you have not got around to it, I have repeated the original email notice below.

Finally, for all payment queries please contact our Treasurer, Roberto Cerdena, directly as I do not yet have access to our bank account. Roberto’s email is roberto.cerdena@icloud.com.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

As you know, all club subscriptions fall due for renewal on 1st January and should be renewed no later than 31st December 2025.

The Club Taurino of London has always aimed to keep membership as accessible as possible and our subscription rates have remained unchanged for a considerable time, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that anyone with a passion for taurine culture can be part of our community.

However, the cost of producing La Divisa - which remains at the heart of the Club’s activities and identity - has risen sharply. Printing, design, and distribution expenses have increased well beyond the level that our longstanding subscription fees can comfortably support.

Despite this, we are keen to maintain the high quality of La Divisa and continue offering it to all members without compromise. To do so sustainably, we are inviting members who feel able to contribute a little more to consider making a voluntary donation to support the publication.

Many of you have told us over the years how much you value La Divisa and the Club in general, and we believe that a number of members would be willing to help ensure its future. Any additional contribution - large or small - will make a meaningful difference.

If you would like to make a voluntary donation in addition to your subscription, please make one payment referencing either ‘donation’ or ‘subscription’. Your generosity will go directly towards meeting the rising costs of La Divisa and strengthening the Club’s finances for the future.

• £70 for members in the UK

• £80 for members in Europe

• £90 for members outside of Europe

• +£2 to the above to include a 2nd member living at the same address
