Now that San Isidro is properly under way, I wanted to send a quick update on certain related matters.
Entradas
Jacob Plieth has 4 spare entradas in tendido 8 for 15, 16, 17 and 18 May. These are good seats in either filas 1 or 4 and would normally cost Eur 212 for the lot. Jacob is willing to sell them for half price, either as a whole or individually. They are electronic tickets which can be emailed. If anyone is interested, please contact Jacob on jplieth@yahoo.co.uk.
Andrew Moore will not be using his abono seat in tendido 9 (barrera - unrestricted view) on 2, 3, 4 and 5 June which he will sell for the bargain price of Eur 120 each (box office price Eur 181). Please contact Andrew on moore.ajg@gmail.com for details.
San Isidro lunch
A few last places remain for the club’s San Isidro lunch at the Wellington Hotel on Friday 27 May, with guest of honour Ginés Marín. A flyer with details is attached.
Sunday 29 May – Aranjuez
Members who will be in Madrid on Sunday 29 May might be interested in the corrida nearby in Aranjuez which will see Morante, Talavante and Daniel Luque face six from La Quinta. Details and entradas are available on Bacantix.es.
Manolete and Pepe Luiz Vázquez exhibition
An exhibition is being staged at the Euskal Etxea in central Madrid on the above matadors and their time in the basque country. A flyer is attached.
Sebastian Castella exhibition
Sabastian Castella is mounting an exhibition of taurine artworks he has produced since his (first) retirement in the Casa De Vacas in the retiro, until 29 May.
